5.0 out of 5 stars You won't be sorry with this one., August 15, 2006
We bought this hoping it would fit on the spur of the moment. To our delightful surprize it was wonderful! It doesn't say it on the box but it also fits a Ford F150 with a canopy on just perfect! Now we can take the dogs kennels and whatever we need and not have to leave things out in the elements. We spent the whole time saying gosh this is great(which is rare these days). it was a breeze to put up and take down also. Perfect for a small family and excellent headroom (Tall).

4.0 out of 5 stars Sportz SUV Tent Works for Me, July 3, 2006
I own a 17 foot Roadtrek van/camper. I love the Roadtrek, but it is a little small for extended camping. I was looking to convert a screen room to attach to the door of my Roadtrek and extend the living space. Then I cam across the Sportz tent. It is designed to go over the back of SUVs and Vans by using a "sock" with elastic and many attaching mechanisms. Since I use it on the side of my Roadtrek, I had to do some improvisation (like using ceramic magnets ($3.50 a pair at True Value) to improve the seal against my van), but it connects well now and works like a family room for my van. It is easy to attach and disconnect for when we need to use the van. The quality of construction is excellent. There are large screens on each side and two door openings in addition to the side that attaches to the van. It is also very easy to erect. My skeptical wife even likes how it adds to our camping experience. I recommend the Sportz SUV Tent.

3.0 out of 5 stars SportZ SUV 81000 Tent, July 12, 2007
We purchased this tent in March 2007 for camping in and around the Southwest for use with a 2007 Toyota Tacoma with Leer cap. On our first use, setting up one of the welds broke to the bungee pole connectors, leaving the entire pole (and tent) unusable. Customer service was fantastic and a new pole was sent within 5 days (keep your original invoice!) without having to ship back the damaged section. We have a hard time getting a tight fit around our leer cap with the sock(allowing mosquitoes to enter the tent easily. Also, the sock collects water easily. Finally, the rainfly does not completely cover the top of the tent. The slightest wind exposes the top of the tent which only has bug netting also allowing cold air and rain to enter. This is not the best tent to have in any rain, wind or cooler temps (which happens too frequently when camping). To be fair, we just got back from the Colo Rockies where we had 3 inches of hail. Nevertheless, for the $200+ price tag, you could get... Read more
